Overview

CEBR offers a pathway into Western Washington University and the expansive range of resources, technology and expertise we have access to. A select group of undergraduate and graduate students work together with faculty and staff to develop and provide coordinated and packaged research, analysis and educational services that allow our clients to make more informed decisions. We have a deep commitment to providing a value to not only our students but also the region and the state. The WWU CEBR is also the proud publisher of the award-winning Puget Sound Economic Forecaster (https://economicforecaster.com/) and the After Office Hours Podcast (https://feeds.transistor.fm/after-office-hours-with-puget-sound-economic-forecaster). Established in 1993, The Puget Sound Economic Forecaster is a quarterly newsletter published by the Center for Economic and Business Research at Western Washington University which acquired the publication in 2017 from its founders, Conway Pedersen Economics, Inc. The newsletter and website are designed for business executives, marketing directors, investors, government managers, and researchers who need a professional and objective view on the economic prospects for the Puget Sound region (King County, Kitsap County, Pierce County, and Snohomish County). Our goal is to provide accurate and well-reasoned forecasts for the region as well as clear and insightful observations on important developments in the economy.
