Fearless Sia captures the minds and hearts through genuine dialogue and opportunities to contribute personal thoughts right on the pages. The integration of story and invitation to dream are seamless as the student engages on this organic, narrative path. The interesting phenomena I have witnessed is the students finding their creative confidence as they are guided to interact with the text and illustrations. As they walk with Sia, they become fearless; they write in the margins, draw pictures next to words, and internal dialogue is externalized and examined. This balance of facing fears with creativity and imagination is beautiful and creates a haven for students.
