Overview

Workplace Sage Legal ("WSL") is a legal services and consulting firm located in Toronto, Ontario. The WSL mandate is to make workplaces better. We do that by: - Enforcing the rights of employees and employers - Empowering employees to stand up for themselves at work - Dissecting and rebuilding unhealthy work environments - Providing workplace wellness training to employers - Providing on demand advice for day-to-day employment issues - Conducting fair workplace investigations - Providing coaching to employees to succeed at work - Defining and refining workplace values WSL's Principal Owner, Stephanie McDonald, helps employees manage the power imbalance between employers and employees. She does so by empowering employees to advocate for their cause by arming them with a strong understanding of: ⁃ Their rights and responsibilities. ⁃ The knowledge of how they can use a lawyer to make the process easier. ⁃ The way they can trust me to have their back. ⁃ The strengths and weaknesses of their case. ⁃ The options to getting a resolution with a clear recommendation of which option is more likely to get the desired result. Stephanie runs a human first practice. From the moment you contact her, she will lead you with care, kindness, compassion and patience. She will listen, answer all of your questions, validate your concerns and hopefully leave you with a little bit of hope and understanding about the future. With Stephanie on your team, you will be able to reach your personal and professional goals by using your rights and the legal system to your advantage, stepping into your power at work and breezing through uncomfortable workplace conflict. It is easy to work with Stephanie because throughout stressful situations, she maintains a calm and collected demeanour.
