WIF Botswana was established in November 2021 when Batswana women filmmakers came together and agreed on the same objective; to push for more equality credit in the film and television industry. We facilitate and support women-led and women-involved projects in Botswana’s film and television industry by bringing together professionals who work in all areas of the entertainment industry. This includes producers and directors to accountants and lawyers, above-the-line and below-the-line, in front of the camera or behind it.
