Overview

WART was started in 2017 as a CBO in Jonglei State and later on registered as a National NGO to serve the needs of women and girls in South Sudan WART is fully registered under the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) in accordance with the 2016 NGO Act of South Sudan. Women Agency for Resilience and Transformation (WART), formerly known as Regional Aid, is a women-led national NGO founded in 2017 by South Sudanese professionals dedicated to building women’s resilience to shocks and stressors that impact livelihoods, nutrition, health, and development through empowering and building the capacity of women in South Sudan.
