Wild Sun Rescue Center

Overview

We are a wildlife rescue center located on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, just bordering Cabo Blanco National Park. Our primary goal is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release orphaned and injured wildlife, returning them to a healthy life in the wild and in turn supporting local biodiversity. We are also in the first phase of our Scarlet Macaw (Ara macao macao) reintroduction program, breeding and releasing this iconic umbrella species that has been extirpated from much of Costa Rica. Conservation is the focus of all that we do - contact us to learn how you can help!
