Gender inequality issues might seem banal, outdated, overused. However, inequality is so deeply rooted in the society, certain cultures and religions, traditions, language, workplace, family life that it seems inevitable or “normal”. What has to change and will it ever change? It is important to have in mind physiological and physical gender differences and question yourself what equality are we striving for. The concept for, “WOMEN EMPOWERING WOMEN” was born out of an idea of the co-founders recognizing the waste of talent resources and knowledge of most women. Women possess many creative talents and have the fortitude to achieve amazing accomplishments. They suffer from lack of exposure to opportunity and the tools to express and pursue their ideas and careers. In many cases they suffer from being psychologically abused with no outlet for finding help. Their Motherly instincts to protect and nurture their children keeps them from having a meaningful life and in some cases it throws them into depression. WEW invites to unite all women willing to make changes and search for new ways gender equality could function.
