Founded in 1881 West Hartlepool RFC has seen many ups and downs in its 140 years...... but we’re still going! Now a new chapter is being written at Brinkburn - the former home of West Hartlepool Grammar School for Boys which provided so many players for West. With a new state of the art clubhouse West has a home it can build on - and we continue to grow with an all weather training pitch due to open in September 2020. On the Pitch we have rugby for everyone - from competitive league rugby to social walking rugby. From Academy players (u18’s) through to our smallest Little Deers who come to us at 18 months. We have one of the most versatile function rooms in Hartlepool catering for everything from family birthday parties and wedding receptions to seminars and exhibitions Two sets of large bi-fold doors provide a light and airy environment and the opportunity to take a break in the fresh air. The suite can be split into two - each with its own bar. We can accommodate up to 150 people at dining tables in the main room or up to 200 by opening up the soundproof screen. West can also provide one of the most attractive and easily accessible exhibition and conference venues in Hartlepool. It can accommodate up to 250 delegates theatre style or 160 cabaret styleThe 3.5m screen and HD projector offer superb quality with cone directional speakers the length of the ceiling. Just plug your laptop into the wall panel. Our sophisticated sound system allows you to play your own music from bluetooth, cd,or usb stick. The spill out room also allows for coffee breaks and buffet lunches.
