Weld County School District RE-4 includes the town of Windsor, the town of Severance, and an area 8.5 miles north of Windsor, 2 miles west, 6 miles east, and 6 miles south (approximately 100 square miles). Windsor is located approximately 50 miles north of Denver. It is centrally located approximately 15 miles from Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley. Weld RE-4 is home to 9 schools and a charter program. Tozer Primary School (P-2), Mountain View Elementary School (3-5), Skyview Elementary School (P-5), Grandview Elementary School (P-5), Range View Elementary (P-5), Windsor Middle School (6-8), Severance Middle School (6-8) Severance High School ( 9-10 for their opening year!), Windsor High School (9-12). The district also has Windsor Charter Academy Elementary School, Windsor Charter Academy Middle School and Windsor Charter Academy Early College High School. The total enrollment in the district is approximately 7,000 students. The patrons in our district are very supportive of the Weld RE-4 School System. The curriculum is constantly being updated to give our students the best possible learning opportunities. The physical facilities are outstanding. The buildings are modern, attractive, functional, and well maintained.
