WeCare for the future

Overview

The story of “WeCare for the future” began on 22th April 2020, which is marked as “Earth Day” – an international day of gratitude, regardless of religion, race, gender, sexual preference or any other way in which we have different beliefs. It’s a day for us all to acknowledge everything that this planet has given us and to raise awareness on how to treat it better from now on. We believe that everyone one of us, in his god’s little acre, can make the change and become a legend in the eyes of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, remembered as the person who saw what was going to happen and chose to take a step, make a compassionate act. Every little act is blessed! There is no room for cynicism, no room for criticism, there is only room for action. After we did our first steps, we noticed quickly how easy it is to be socially involved and not less important, that it is fun to be socially involved and to share these activities with friends and like-minded people! There is plenty of garbage in our beautiful nature, way too much wasted food and even hungry people are not missing… That’s why we invite each and every one to join our community and to be a part of the change! We need you to make a real difference! On a weekly basis, we are sorting and rescuing food at the warehouse of our partner The Stone Mill Coop, a food supplier for healthy snacks in Ashdod. The rescued snacks are getting donated to the Lasova Soup Kitchen in Tel Aviv, which feeds more than 1.000 homeless or needy people every day. Soon we will cooperate with additional food suppliers. On a monthly basis we are organising big cleanups (mostly beach cleanups) all over the country, for example in Netanya, Tel Aviv, Ashdod and soon also in Jerusalem and Haifa.
