The Historic Wayne Theatre Ross Performing Arts Center is located in Downtown Waynesboro, Virginia. By providing diverse, enriching experiences through Live Theatre that features musicals, plays, cabaret, as well as an in-house Art Gallery with rotating exhibits, plus enriching Arts Education opportunities for children, teens and adults along with Science and History Presentations and Discussions, Classic Films with commentary, and concerts that feature music from all genres, the Wayne Theatre truly has something for everyone. As a nonprofit organization, the Wayne Theatre relies on volunteers, ambassadors, its board and network of supporters throughout the community to continue to provide its programming while consistently offering innovative, new programs such as Studio Wayne, an Arts Education series that features workshops and classes for adults, children and teens with topics ranging from Early Music Education and Masterclass Voice Training to Stage Makeup, Improvisation, and lots more. A staple for the Waynesboro, Virginia community, the Wayne Theatre fosters growth for neighboring businesses and other nonprofits throughout the area.
