Founded in 1948, the Wallum Lake Rod and Gun Club has nearly 700 members and sits on 220 wooded acres in Northwestern, Rhode Island. Its shooting sports facilities are some of the most desireable in New England and include: four trap fields, three skeet fields, sporting clays, five-stand, bird hunting, indoor range, pistol pits, a 200 yard rifle and pistol range, and an archery range. The Club also has three stocked trout ponds. The Club routinely runs a series of competitions and tournaments that are open to the public that include: Trap, Skeet, Three Gun, Pistol, Rifle and 3D Archery. The Club also has a commercial kitchen, event hall and outdoor pavilion that is available to rent for weddings, birthday's and special events.
