WADE FOUNDATION is a nonprofit organization created to harness the power of people’s movement and community mobilization for significant social & behavioral changes leading to positive social development. The biggest problems of the society need larger section of communities to come together to solve them. Core working areas of the WADE FOUNDATION are Water, Education for underprivileged girls, Skill-building, encouraging Craftsmanship, awareness & protection of Environment and natural resources and general social upliftment & empowerment. Chairperson: Vertica Dvivedi Background: WADE Foundation branched out from WADE ASIA, the platform that was created to recognize and celebrate women-led development in India and South-East Asian Countries. WADE ASIA has gained immense goodwill for their work and is recognised for promoting the work of women and giving them a common platform to meet, learn, collaborate and grow.
