Overview

The Centre for Excellence in Strategic Talent Management (sTm) strives for thought leadership in Strategic Talent Management by being the ‘gatekeeper’ between theory and practice. Together with our member organisations we develop, share and validate knowledge and good practices in the field. Our goal is to provide a platform for our members where they can connect, exchange and co-create knowledge in order to advance the practice of talent management within their organisations. The sTm centre strives for thought leadership where academics work hand in hand with HR practitioners on their specific talent management challenges. sTm has several topics permanently on its radar, for which we continuously monitor what happens both in research and in practice: 🎯 TALENT ACQUISITION: How to brand your organisation, recruit and select the talent you need in the fast changing (digital) world? 🎯 TALENT DEVELOPMENT: How to develop your talent (by up- and re-skilling) and guarantee the required skills & competencies? 🎯 TALENT RETENTION: How to retain and engage your talent in a high performing environment, respecting their wellbeing? 🎯 PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: How to leverage effective tools for evaluating and coaching employees? How to create a strong performance feedback culture? 🎯 DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION: How does digital transformation impact talent management practices? WHY BECOMING A MEMBER? 1️⃣ You want to broaden your horizon and explore new perspectives on talent management. 2️⃣ You want to exchange knowledge and expertise with peers facing similar challenges. 3️⃣ You want to learn from talent management research & gain evidence-based insights. WHO SHOULD JOIN? The Centre for Excellence in Strategic Talent Management is ideal for HR directors and talent managers together with their HR team.
