Overview

Vircle (short for Visible Circle) is a fin-tech solution that enables consumers to create communities of controlled cashless commerce with focus on Health and well being of society. It was borne out of a need, by the founder, to have some level of visibility and control over the food his children were consuming at school. The solution is based on a concept from the digital media industry – entitlements. It addresses the need to bring transparency, visibility and control between a provider and dependent. Vircle has initially been designed as a cashless school and a Peer to Peer subsidy solution, where the provider entitles beneficiary with consumption entitlements, such as cash value, specific items such as healthy food, groceries etc, based on digital entitlements, and the actual cashless payment takes place in the background when the actual consumption happens, at the same time giving providers the visibility of consumption. The Vircle concept has been tested with a wide range of different stakeholders, including: schools, school canteens, parents, eWallet players and government and non governmental agencies and has received strong support. We go into trials in July with a planned launch in Q4/2019.
