Overview

Our Mission Team “Victory” conducts recruitment operations during FY19 to enlist the highest qualified men and women into the Active Army and the U.S. Army Reserve in order to sustain a professional, all volunteer force ensuring the security and readiness of our nation. Our Job The 1st Recruiting Brigade, located at Fort George G. Meade, Md., is one of six brigades in the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC). The Brigade consists of eight recruiting battalions, 50 companies, one European detachment, 149 recruiting centers, and around 2,200 personnel, both military and civilian. All of which are located in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the United States. We recruit qualified young men and women for the Regular Army, Army Reserve, Officer Candidate School, Army Chaplain Corps, Warrant Officer Flight Training, and various other Military Occupational Specialties, such as band, linguist, and Special Forces.
