Overview

Engineers are necessary for the advancement within any society. VIZL (the Association of Engineers in South Limburg) was founded in 1916. VIZL not only promotes contacts among engineers, but does much more. It allows engineers from various disciplines to meet and network in an open atmosphere. Main goal of the association is the exchange of knowledge on all conceivable technical and social issues, including through the online network LinkedIn. We organize lectures, excursions and activities in which engineers of all ages share their knowledge and experience with other technical professionals. We support our members in their careers, expand their network and give them an understanding of technical and other relevant developments within and outside the Limburg region. Our goal is to enthuse young people for science & technology and making this region a breeding ground for engineers who want to contribute their knowledge and experience to increase the economic vitality. VIZL is member of the DIK (Drielanden Ingenieurs Kontakt). Currently, eight organizations from North Rhine-Westphalia, Dutch and Belgian Limburg, the province of Liege and the region of Eupen are constituent or associate members.
