uugot.it - learning languages while watching TV uugot.it enables learning languages while watching TV. We stream TV channels to Smartphones or Tablets and add interactive subtitles. In case one doesn't understand a certain word one can click on that word and it will automatically be translated into the language of the user. With uugot.it language learning becomes not just super easy but so much fun. Besides language learning uugot.it is a helpful tool for migrants and refugees to arrive in the society of their host country. Why is that so? TV is a mirror of the society, uugot.it enables that local channels will become understandable, people who use uugot.it will understand: What moves the society of their host country as well as what are the people laughing about, which traditions and values they have or which fears and challenges they're facing. uugot.it makes the content easier to understand and therefore we enable an entrance to the society with a low threshold. By doing that uugot.it slips into the role of a bridge builder and opens the host society for those who come to live with us. (currently in development)
