Utah's Perfect Pointers DBA GSP Rescue Southwest ("UPP") is an animal rescue organization dedicated to rehoming dogs of the "pointing persuasion," including German Shorthair Pointers, German Wirehair Pointers, Wirehair Pointing Griffons, Weimaraners, English Pointers and mixes and combinations thereof. The organization primarily covers the states of Utah, Arizona and New Mexico. However due to a lack of pointer rescue organizations in neighboring states, the organization will accept from and adopt dogs to the states of Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. UPP is a Non-Profit Corporation, established in 2008 and is registered with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. UPP works with animal rescue organizations and individuals to provide advocacy, training, intake and adoption services with the goal or reducing the homeless population and euthanizing of pointing breeds.
