Overview

USNA Alumni Association, Texas Gulf Coast Chapter (the TxGCC) is the official Naval Academy Alumni Association chapter for the greater Houston area. Though part of the network of 97 alumni chapters around the world, serving 53,000 alumni, the TxGCC exists independently of the USNA Alumni Association. The TxGCC serves alumni, parents, and friends in support of the Naval Academy and its mission through engagement and activities which perpetuate the history, traditions, memories, and growth of the Naval Academy and bind alumni together in support of the highest ideals of command, citizenship, and government. In 2013, the TxGCC successfully established the USNA Alumni Association, Texas Gulf Coast Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, separate from the chapter, with the specific purpose of perpetuating philanthropic efforts that are closely aligned with the ideals of the Naval Academy, Veterans, and the local community.
