Beijing City Quadrant Technology Co., Ltd. (also known as City Quadrant for short, http://www.urbanxyz.com) was established in May 2016. Based on studying human behavior, this company is dedicated to apply data in supporting city governance and improving city qualities. 北京城市象限科技有限公司（简称城市象限）成立于2016年5月，是一家致力于以人的行为研究为出发点，用数据来开展城市治理提升城市品质的公司。 Urban Quadrant is brooded by Beijing Municipal Planning and Design Institute. Our members come from the Beijing Municipal Planning and Design Institute, Beijing City Lab (BCL) and other domestic research and academic institutions. Many of the technical staff have study-abroad experience (e.g. UCL, Columbia University, SUNY at Buffalo). Mao Mingrui, the company’s founder, had been working in Beijing Municipal Institute of City Planning and Design (BICP) over a decade, experienced in urban planning and data analysis. At present, he is serving as Vice Secretary General of Urban Big Data Professional Committee at Chinese Society for Urban Studies, Secretary General of the cloud platform Innovation center in BICP, Executive Director of BCL and other social positions. 城市象限孵化于北京市城市规划设计研究院，公司成员来自于北京市城市规划设计研究院、北京城市实验室（BCL）等国内科研与学术机构，多名技术人员具有海外留学背景（UCL，哥伦比亚大学，UB等），公司创始人茅明睿曾在北京市城市规划设计研究院任职多年，具有资深的城市规划和城市数据分析经验，目前担任有中国城市科学研究会城市大数据专业委员会副秘书长、北京市城市规划设计研究院云平台创新中心秘书长、北京城市实验室执行主任等社会职务。 城市象限具有手机位置数据、手机信令数据和公交、地铁IC卡刷卡记录时空数据处理、分析、行为建模等大数据处理与分析技术，自然语言处理与语义分析技术、参与式规划技术和多源数据采集与集成技术，业务包括城市数据集成、城市数据服务、城市与社会感知、城市体征监测、时空行为分析、城市规划大数据咨询等，开发有“人迹地图”城市数据分析平台（简称人迹地图）和城市动态观测平台等产品，并有城市规划领域的完整解决方案。 城市象限具有全中国数十亿台智能终端的定位数据、城市路网、用地、兴趣点和位置微博数据，以及部分城市的手机信令和公交地铁IC卡刷卡记录，能够按照任意空间单元、任意属性维度对中国所有城市空间进行人流监测、人群洞察、职住通勤分析、城市活力监测、城市空间画像等。 城市象限与北京市政交通一卡通公司、清华大学、同济大学、北京交通大学、武汉大学、福州大学、暨南大学等机构有着良好的合作关系。公司平台产品和技术服务已经在北京城市总体规划、北京副中心总体规划、顺义区城市品质提升研究、回龙观地区功能优化研究、大栅栏地区城市更新等项目中得到应用。
