Urban League of Greater Richmond Young Professionals (ULGRYP) is a volunteer auxiliary that targets young professionals ages 21-45 to empower their communities and change lives through the Urban League Movement. Since 1913, the Urban League of Greater Richmond has been empowering the African American community. We are an affiliate of the National Urban League the nation’s oldest and largest community-based movement devoted to empowering African Americans to enter the economic and social mainstream. Our goals are to continue strengthening current programs and expand according to community needs. As the community determines service gaps, the Urban League will coordinate efforts to fill those gaps. Our mission is to support the Urban League Movement through volunteerism, philanthropy and membership development.
