Overview

The project aims to study the social, economic and ecological impacts of urban agriculture it has on urban communities. Despite growing interest in urban farming by citizens and local authorities around the world, little scientific research and hard data have been produced to show how it can help strengthen local communities, economies and the environment. The ambition of the project is to contribute to closing this gap through an interdisciplinary study of the enabling and disabling factors of urban farming and its effects on the quality of life of citizens.
