The practice has a health visitor who liaises with the practice team. She gives advice on health care, particularly to expectant mothers, children and the elderly. The health visitor provides all the support needed by mother and baby as well as advising, if needed, on referral to other professions such as social services, home care. They are also responsible for any health education advice required.
