Jointly managed by two experienced and award-winning urban planning professionals, UPLAND | Urban Planning + Design Studio provides strategic planning and urban design services to both public and private sector clients throughout Atlantic Canada. Our clients include municipal, provincial and federal governments, land developers, private industry, and non-profit organizations. We deliver urban planning and design solutions that are rooted in the knowledge of local conditions, in consensus-building and in the creative application of emerging urban planning and design principles adapted to the needs of each individual community. The expertise and reputation of UPLAND’s founding partners has been recognized by a number of national planning and design awards, among them the highest honours by both the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CLSA) and the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP).
