Upkram Educational Foundation is a not-for-profit organization located in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh. Our mission is to develop schools as effective learning and discourse spaces for children from underserved communities of Sonbhadra. Children in underserved communities face early literacy challenges which lead to poor learning outcomes. This also reflects in their later years. Realising the significance of the problem, we are working on a threefold approach by engaging children, teachers, local women & youth to bring in systemic change.
