As a single Family Office based in Hong Kong and with our founders’ roots in Europe, our outlook is global in nature. Our entrepreneurial DNA is at the core of what we do and how we think about the opportunities offered by today’s fast-changing markets. Having been active in Hong Kong/China and serving discerning clients in Europe for more than 20 years, we have learned what it means to be nimble and fast in business while at the same time upholding the highest standards of quality. We know what it takes to build a successful business and as a result take a long-term approach to investing and fostering promising entrepreneurs. At the same time we keep a keen eye on progress of any chosen strategy. We act as sponsors and strategic advisers to our traditional core business holdings in the electronic/white goods sector. We take a particular interest in further growing our newly-developed technological capabilities in the world of IoT. This allows us to magnify the strengths of our core products and systems, and to crystallize the best possible value for the end clients. As our specific know how is in the area of refined IT applications for the wider consumer goods industry, we keep exploring further opportunities in that space. We also provide analysis and strategy advice on our family’s global investment portfolios. The emphasis is on achieving consistent returns and on real capital preservation, and the range of asset classes we invest in is broad. In this field we work with some of the premier financial institutions globally. In Private Markets, we do co-investments opportunistically and with strong lead partners when we see a good fit into our overall asset allocation. We value a close partnership with all our stakeholders and believe in developing long-term and in-depth relationships. Our aim is to further build Uphill Capital as a strategic investor and over time to build a bridge from the founders’ personal involvement to the next generation.
