At the University of Lincoln’s Student Enterprise, we're dedicated to helping great business ideas get off the ground to become successful start-up enterprises. The Student Enterprise Service is based in the Enterprise Building (behind the Library). We offer a range of support to all Students and Graduates across the University of Lincoln. We can help with all things relating to enterprise and self-employment. Whether you are looking to gain new skills, go freelance or start your own business, we are here to help you. We’re able to provide new and existing businesses access to specialist support services, mentoring, knowledge, facilities, and more! Our team offers a range of services: Mentoring & advice 👋 Guidance on starting your own business or going freelance, from initial idea through to being self-employed. Business planning 📈 We can help you clarify your idea and understand the steps you need to take to get started. Funding and finance 💰 Cashflow? Profit margins? Sales forecasts? You don’t need to be an expert in business, you can gain all the skills and knowledge you need from Student Enterprise. We can also help you understand what funding opportunities are available. Market research 📊 Sometimes it’s difficult to know where to start. We can help with market research to refine your product or service, establish its space in the marketplace and spot new opportunities.
