Overview
We are Africa’s premier think, do and link tank in the area of natural resource management. For over 32 years, we worked to reconfigure Africa’s NRM ecosystem by providing thought leadership, pioneering and leading research, incubating, producing, brokering knowledge, offering innovative solutions in support of policy planning and decisions, and building research infrastructure and expertise across the continent, with strong presence in 5 African countries - Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Namibia, Senegal and Zambia. Mandated by Africa’s highest political leadership and based in Accra, Ghana, we champion an Africa-centric natural resource agenda that is rooted in African realities and uses African intelligence. Initially set up as a network to connect national research institutes to international research bodies and science to development, we have since established ourselves as the go-to knowledge hub for sourcing readily available and easily accessible information, intelligence, and expertise on NRM.
