The results of the UK Recruitment Index 2015 compiled by APSCo and Deloitte revealed some interesting data. Importantly 83% of professional recruitment firms surveyed reported an increase in net fee income over the past year which was a significant increase over 2014. In terms of future growth, 62% of firms said growing headcount will be a major challenge in the next 12 months with 31% saying another top challenge was retaining talent.
