University College at Washington University in St. Louis has offered professional and continuing education programs since 1908. With flexible evening, online, and part-time course formats, students learn from distinguished faculty in a supportive environment. Students can earn bachelor’s or master’s degrees, associates’ degrees, certificates, take courses for personal enrichment or study on a noncredit basis. Our instructors include many WashU faculty as well as professionals from the greater St. Louis community. These include successful business, science and health professionals, working journalists, writers and performing artists, and WashU graduate students and recent PhDs. Who are our students? Everyone. From the 25-year-old public relations professional in pursuit of a graduate degree to the 45-year-old mother finishing her college degree, to the executive expanding his knowledge about international relations, to the grandmother who always wanted to learn French, University College provides continuing education options for ambitious and curious minds of all ages. University College was founded officially in 1931 and has been serving the St. Louis region ever since.
