Universal Risk Intermediaries, Inc. (“UniRisk”) functions as an intermediary, facilitating Alternative Risk solutions. Started in 1994, as part of Universal Holdings (Bermuda), it conducts its Bermuda operations with its affiliated insurance/reinsurance company, Capital Security Ltd, through the management firm of R & Q Quest Management Service Limited (“Quest”). UniRisk works closely with many United States carriers to develop profitable partnerships with those individual insured’s or groups of insured’s who seek alternatives to the standard marketplace. Our affiliated Bermuda companies provide the risk sharing capabilities sought by our clients. UniRisk’s production sources are typically regional agents/brokers, second tier national brokers, wholesale and MGA operations, reinsurance intermediaries, independent risk management firms, and issuing carriers. Combined with the capabilities offered in the Bermuda insurance and financial community, UniRisk is unique in the marketplace. There is virtually no program or individual placement, involving risk sharing, that UniRisk cannot undertake.
