The United Way of the Bradford Area, Inc. is a non-profit organization with the mission of raising and distributing funds for the purpose of community building and enhancing the quality of life in the greater Bradford area. We are currently supporting 39 programs and services through 20 local agencies with the $330,000 raised during the 2013 campaign. That number rises throughout the year as we see new agencies looking for ways to impact our community and meet the growing needs of our friends and neighbors. Additionally, we manage the Smethport Campaign for United Way, which raised $10,000 during the 2013 appeal. Our 2014 solicitation efforts officially kick-off on August 15th, and will run through December 15th.
