Overview

UFLAC is the labor representation organization of the proud men and women that serve as Firefighters and emergency medical personnel protecting the City of Los Angeles. The more than 3,600 members of the Los Angeles Fire Department rely on UFLAC to focus on the wellbeing of those that protect the lives of others. UFLAC takes great pride in providing leadership and influence on issues that involve public safety and worker welfare. Local 112 provides a substantial range of services to our members. These include representation in contract negotiations, pension issues, department investigative procedures, advice and assistance in workers’ compensation cases, as well as health and safety matters. Medical, dental, life and long-term disability insurance are also provided through the UFLAC Benefits Department. The UFLAC Employee Assistance Program provides a wide range of services to our members. UFLAC Local 112 is a proud member of IAFF, AFL-CIO-CLC.
