Overview
UNDONE is the first range of alcohol-free drinks made from genuine alcoholic distillates. The portfolio consists of five varieties: No. 1 Sugar Cane Type (This is not Rum), No. 2 Juniper Type (This is not Gin), No. 7 Italian Bitter Type (This is not Orange Bitter), No. 8 Italian Aperitif Type (This is not Vermouth) and No. 9 Red Italian Aperitif Type (This is not Red Vermouth). The essence holds the key to these alternatives to spirits. The alternatives to gin and rum are first distilled in a copper kettle or still. In a further process the alcohol is then removed or “undone.” Following a successful New York launch, Hamburg based start-up UNDONE has rolled out in Germany their alcohol-free alternatives. The founders, a team led by André Stork and Mehmet Ünlü, aim to liberate the drinking culture from the dominance of alcohol by serving trendy beverages such as Negroni UNDONE, Jamaican Mule UNDONE, Cuba Libre UNDONE or long drinks and cocktails UNDONE. Our stated aim is to reduce global alcohol consumption by 20 percent by 2025.
