Overview

The International Students’ Organization (ISO) was created by the then International Students’ Representative, in 2018 and launched as the student club UMISO in 2019. Since then, the University of Manitoba International Students’ Organization has provided international students at the University of Manitoba with resources as well as opportunities for connection. Our mission is to effectively support international students, through the provision of information, access to external or internal resources and other services. UMISO supports, motivates, and assists International students during their journeys through the University of Manitoba. We encourage students to embrace and share their cultures, as well as learn from others. Being part of UMISO enables students to meet many people from all around the globe and experience new traditions, events and even food while building a diverse network and support system.
