Overview
European Research Institute for the biology of Ageing (ERIBA) was founded in 2009, and the novel building was opened in 2012. Within ERIBA, we focus on fundamental biology to understand the causes of ageing. We aim to develop novel strategies to prevent or combat age-related diseases and to provide evidence based recommendations for healthy ageing. The institute has state-of-the-art facilities, strong leadership and mentorship from scientists who provide the driving force for excellent scientific research, and provide an outstanding training platform for aspiring scientists.
