Mentor Lab Vision: Every UGA student has a mentor in their corner prior to going beyond the Arch. Mentor Lab Mission: To foster a culture of mentoring across the University: - Meet students where they are at - Be inclusive to ensure all students have access to meaningful mentorships - Strive to make mentorship an integral part of student’s experience - Elevate the quality of the UGA Mentor Program for its participants - Transform lives one mentorship at a time - Strengthen the bulldog family The UGA Mentor Program, an initiative of President Jere W. Morehead, was globally launched in August 2019 to connect UGA students and alumni. It is the University's first comprehensive mentorship initiative, which provides students (undergraduate, graduate, and professional) with the opportunity to form meaningful mentoring relationships with alumni, faculty, and staff, regardless of geographic location. "I have had the absolute best experience with the UGA Mentor Program. The relationship I have with my mentor has opened so many doors for me that will continue to provide personal & professional help for years to come. I would recommend this program to any student." - UGA Student Mentee “I now feel a closer tie to the University and my impact on the student body there.” - UGA Alumni Mentor Metrics: Last Updated: 8.27.2021 - 2,500+ students (active) - 3,500+ alumni mentors - 2,900+ mentoring relationships To learn more and get involved, visit mentor.uga.edu.
