UDA Architects is a broadly experienced architecture firm providing specialized aviation design and planning services within the United States. We count several corporate flight departments, OEM’s, FBO’s and commercial carriers as repeat clients in addition to providing planning/consulting services for regional airports. From our past experience we understand that aviation design in its basic form requires a greater emphasis on functionality (over aesthetics) similar to other transportation and industrial projects. Melding the passenger experience with the functional requirements of the facility is the core design issue for most projects. Coordinating these aesthetic and functional requirements also requires rigorous pre-planning to solve design issues early on before solutions to these issues are treated as add-ons to the overall design.
