The EcoCAR UC Davis is a team of students and professors participating in the EcoCAR EVChallenge organized and sponsored by General Motors and Argonne National Labs. Using the competition’s structure, the UC Davis team aims to provide a learning experience for anyone interested in the automotive industry using tools and hands-on experience that is generally not accessible to college students. As a team, we will be focused on modeling and converting a Cadillac Lyriq (provided by the sponsors) into a highly energy efficient and autonomous vehicle. We will also this as a platform to increase EV awareness and train a diverse workforce.
