Overview

For nearly ten years, Susanna Taylor and Audrey Yang toiled away in some of the Bay Area's best boutiques and department stores. You name her, they dressed her. The transplant fresh out of school, the new mom trying to lose those ten last pounds, the harried career gal and the social climber who lunches more than she works. Day by day, year by year, they fell in love with the city and all of the diverse women they helped look good and feel good. Heck, they probably dressed you. Speaking of you, they know it's not easy. The temperature may hover in the 60s for most of the year, but that doesn't mean getting dressed is a walk in the park. Spontaneous getaways to Napa, long weekends in Tahoe, first dates and foggy nights. And that's just the beginning. Have we mentioned the destination weddings and new "smart casual" dress code at the office? Through it all they served their customers well with what they had...but they always felt caged in, and had a hunch that they could do it better themselves. Now that hunch has become a reality. Welcome to Two Birds. A little nest in Noe Valley they want to share with you. A spot that stocks your favorite, go-to designers (Vince's comfy sweaters, Joie's easy day-to-night tops, and those always sexy J Brands) and new brands flying straight from the pages of Harper's Bazaar and Vogue -- from Mother (hands down the best new jeans in town) to Trovata's California casual and the laid back ease of Ulla Johnson. Locally made jewelry, handbags and accessories round out the mix. Susanna and Audrey could not be more excited to handpick an intelligent and sophisticated yet whimsical selection that truly meets the needs of San Francisco women. We invite you to stop in and stay a while.
