Overview

Twin City Youth Soccer Association (TCYSA) was incorporated in 1988. Its purpose was and still is to develop, promote and advance youth soccer in the Winston-Salem area and allow players to develop to their highest potential. Currently, there are nearly 3,000 boys, girls and adults who are involved in TCYSA programs. The Association is made up of the Directors of Coaching who oversee the development of players along with a group of professional and volunteer coaches, as well as a full time administrative staff that run the day to day operations of the club. In addition, a volunteer executive board of directors supports the full time staff in following the vision of the club. TCYSA is comprised of a SELECT division (u9/u10 Youth Academy, u11/u12 Challenge Academy, u13-u18 Challenge, and u11-u18 Classic), a RECREATION division (Youth u4-u16 & Adult), and OTHER PROGRAMS (Camps, TOPSoccer, and additional training programs). TCYSA is also part of the North Carolina Soccer Fusion (NCSF), a partnership with Greensboro United Soccer Association (GUSA), to provide the highest level of soccer in the country to players in the Piedmont Triad area. The NCSF is part of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy (DA) for boys and the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) for girls. TCYSA is a member of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA) and US Club Soccer. TCYSA owns and operates BB&T Soccer Park, one of the top sports facilities in the Southeast, just west of Winston-Salem in Davie County. TCYSA is widely considered by many to be one of the best youth soccer organizations in the state of North Carolina. The club emphasizes quality and integrity throughout the organization. As a direct result of its reputation and its growing successes, the club is experiencing strong growth, and is attracting players from communities outside the greater Winston-Salem area.
