Welcome to our story about the Negro League, because The Negro League Matters For over a decade black baseball players, were not allowed to play in the Major Leagues because of the systemic racism, of that time. So with the formation of the Negro league, the MLB became the 'All White baseball league. Negro League players were just as good or better than any MLB player. Negro League players did get to play against MLB teams in quote exhibition games called Barnstormers. There were 445 games recorded against MLB players from 1886 to 1948. The Negro League won 269 and lost 172. We are trying to shine a light on these fantastic players from the negro leagues because unfortunately their stories don't get told often. We need to question, the all-time great player's records. Who's really the home run king, or the most outstanding picture of all time?
