Trigger was born out of the critical need to help people in South Africa, live, work and play, in safety and with peace of mind, by providing a smart, easy to use, all-in-one platform that can help people access a network of accredited emergency services and providers – when they need them. Trigger uses smart, disruptive and scalable technology that is also enabling better efficiencies across the security and emergency services sectors. This has created an optimally beneficial environment for all concerned: the subscriber, who receives affordable and effective services; the security provider who is able to increase revenue and its client base; and Trigger, as we fulfil our mission. What makes Trigger different? We use smart technology to autonomously connect you to help. Similar to how eHailing services work, Trigger equips each armed response vehicle in our network of over 250 independent private security suppliers and thousands of responders, with a responder device. When the subscriber pushes the button, help is autonomously dispatched to the location from which the call for help originated. We also use the human touch too – a team of operators is on call 24/7 to help you, so you know you are not alone. In short, Trigger has partnered with best of breed service providers and put them all together on one platform – no need to contact several different providers or remember different numbers.
