Tri County Animal Rescue

Overview

Mission The Tri County Humane Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals believes animals, as living creatures, have value beyond economic measure and are entitled to legal, moral, ethical consideration, and protection. We are a 100% no kill shelter and a 100% not for profit shelter. All of the funding we receive is dedicated to rescue activities. Company Overview Since Tri County took over The Lullis Ritter Animal Shelter in July 2001, we have had thousands of adoptions. Some of these animals had been in cages for months, but now they have a chance with a family and a loving home. Our ongoing fund raising helps to meet our animals’ needs with the best possible veterinary care and nutrition. Most of all, due to the efforts of our many volunteers, these dogs and cats receive lots of love and affection until they are adopted. General Information What We Do… try to stop the killing over 45,000 unwanted pets in Broward County, 65,000 in Miami-Dade County, and 60,000 in Palm Beach County each year. We hope to place as many as possible in our no-kill shelter and find them wonderful, loving homes. Tri County rescues thousands of pups, cats, dogs and kittens each year that were on death row ready to be euthanized. That is why our no-kill shelter is vital to thousands of animals who depend on us for their lives.
