The College of Business and Economics at Towson University transforms students into professionals, connects them to opportunities, and helps them launch their careers in accounting, business, and economics through innovative, experiential programs. Accreditation from AACSB International is the benchmark of quality for business education worldwide and proves to employers that we will teach you the knowledge and skills that you need. Less than 6% of schools worldwide are accredited for business and only 2% are accredited for both business and accounting. Towson University, an institution member of the University System of Maryland, is home to about 20,000 students - 3,000 of which study in the College of Business and Economics. Our students benefit from dedicated faculty and an average class size of 32 students. CBE is home to four specialized masters programs in accounting, economic analytics, marketing intelligence and supply chain management, and 13 areas of study for undergraduates – from Accounting to Entrepreneurship to Project Management and everything in between.
