The mission of Total Child Preschool is to provide quality, affordable early childhood education in an environment that reflects a commitment to embrace and respect economic, cultural, ad religious diversity as a positive value to be nurtured in our children, our community, and our world. The goal of the program is to provide a nurturing, inclusive environment where the staff can work with parents to affirm and encourage children as they develop physically, socially, emotionally, and intellectually through a play based, child centered pedagogy. At Total Child Preschool our educational program reflects a number of core beliefs: 1. We believe that children should be encouraged to explore, to problem-solve, to create, and to develop - all at their own rate. 2. We believe that children have different strengths, talents, and interests at each stage of development. 3. We believe that children must be presented with concepts in a manner consistent with their individual learning style and their unique view of the world. 4.
