Topaz Mel is the largest milling complex in Bulgaria and one of the state-of-the-art complexes in Europe. It occupies an area of 83 000 sq. m. in lands of the Tserkovski village, Karnobat municipality. The area has long-standing traditions in grain-production, milling, and bakery. Chronicles dating back to Medieval times witness that flours from the Karnobat mills were intensely traded throughout the country, being famous for their high quality. The renown of the old master millers was being spread to all corners of Bulgaria. Nowadays, Topaz Mel combines rich historical heritage with the highest production technologies.
