Overview

The Toa Nafasi Project is an educational program, not a separate centre or school, that aims to support grade one and two students in the Tanzanian school system who are experiencing learning difficulties. We train young women from the local community as tutors for these students and provide medical and psychosocial referrals. In 2019, The Project expanded to an additional five schools and will be implemented in a further two schools in 2020, making a total of 11 schools.
