Tierra Technologies launched Logmate, an New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) approved electronic work-time recording and managed platform, in July 2014. Logmate revolutionizes the Transport Industry by enabling drivers to record and manage their work-time on their phone. The App, supported on both Android & iOS, is available to download from the Apps Stores, and is free to trial for 3 weeks. Logmate simplifies and adds baked-in-smarts to assist Drivers to comply with their obligations under the Land Transport Act 1998. It is refreshingly simple to use; uncluttered screens, large buttons and simple timers, all come together to deliver a highly intuitive and friend user experience. Audible and visual notifications inform drivers as a change to their work status approaches. Transport Operators benefit from real-time recording and reporting on their driver and vehicle use. By providing a clear view of a drivers actual logged hours, they can ensure they don't over allocate work and risk non-compliance.
